The building process at Connor Homes makes it possible for our customers to stay
focused on the fun and exciting prospect of building a new home while we deal with
the more mundane aspects of costing, permitting and code review. Our services include
design, costing, permit and code review, and if your local jurisdiction requires
stamped plans, we arrange for that, too!
Custom Design
Our process is simple. Our customers typically come to us with an idea for a new
home that may have come from our catalog, or may be an amalgamation of inspiration
from many sources. It may even be just a narrative description of what they want
in a new home. Our experienced design team takes over from there, and our long term
expertise in construction, costing, and code review allows us to address these issues
for you while you continue to concentrate on the creative side of your new home.
Our Catalog
A house plan chosen from our existing designs is the easiest and fastest path to
a new home. Many of our customers will also choose one of our existing plans and
make modifications, and this too is a quick and easy way to move forward. But for
those who want a design from scratch that incorporates a lifetime of inspiration
and ideas, our design team has the experience and expertise to guide you through
a full scale architectural design. All new designs and design modifications are
then priced. Our pricing will include a description of all specifications and freight
cost to your site. As an additional service we also include a "vital statistics"
sheet that provides customers and their builders with valuable information such
as yardage of concrete required for the foundation, the number of man hours required
to erect the shell and apply our trim package, the square footage of roofing and
siding to calculate the labor required on site for these items, the amounts of insulation
required, the square footage of drywall required, and even the number of gallons
of paint to complete the exterior and interior of the home. These are all provided
as a service to quickly and efficiently assist in the calculation of the completed
cost of the home.
At Connor Homes, we see ourselves as your advocate to assist you in navigating through
the various planning stages by providing you with permit plans, financing documentation,
costing information etc. Our goal is to make our experienced design and building
